About my yoga studio...

Yoga is a way to find yourself and your inner peace..., it's a journey not only of the mind, but also the body. Taking the body to different levels where you experience your own strengths, own levels of flexibility and then, taking it beyond gradually. It is the philosophy that we believe in! No matter your age, or flexibility level or experience with yoga… you will find your balance and work within your own limits in each of our classes. Each lesson aims at strengthening your spine which is your core of a healthy life, opening up and activating your 'Chakras' and improving your breathing technique and completely relaxing the mind. Your experience at our studio will surely not leave you disappointed!!

What makes my studio different?

  • Being raised in India and receiving my yoga education through various centres of yoga and 'Gurus'(teachers) in India , I teach the authentic form of yoga and breathing techniques to open up your lungs, open up your 'Chakras' and calm your mind.
  • My fitness education is incorporated into the yoga lessons to give you a well rounded benefit of muscle strengthening and toning.
  • Each ones Individual problems are kept in mind during each lesson and direction given appropriately.
  • The warm and family atmosphere makes the experience of yoga even more enjoyable and relaxing.

All in all, as a Yoga and Fitness trainer, I try to combine my knowledge of fitness into my yoga lessons as well and try my best to conduct a class that gives all students (adults and kids alike) a well rounded experience of energy and strength to both the body and mind. Helping further to strengthen all core muscles, improve one's concentration skills and sense of balance and well being.

Reetu's yoga class has been my first experience with yoga. I did not know what to expect at all. I am very happy I joined and do my best not to miss a class. I am impressed by Reetu's approach, a lot of explanation about how and why each Asana(posture) is done. It brings me a great sense of connection between my body and spirit, a great balance.

I was travelling a lot through my pregnancy and I've literally done yoga in 3 different countries but nothing was as comforting as REETU'S class. It was tailored to my unique needs in each trimester. She was available to even chat about the pregnancy and challenges around it and always kept me reassured and calm. This may sound like the bizzarest thing ever but honestly, the meditation segment where I was made to visualise my child time and again- I used to think of having a baby with blue eyes. And the unreal part is, my son has those blue eyes that I almost pictured as a joke at her classes (without any genetic backing)!

As soon as I thought of starting Yoga, my friends told me it will be boring, and meditation means time to sleep..but when I started with REETU VEDIC YOGA...first day itself I felt that Wowwww...this is it ! It was what I was looking for ! REETU guided me so well with the asanas and the guided meditation was beyond what I could imagine, simply great! 
I do her lessons atleast 2 times a week...& eventually forced her to do Couples yoga on a regular basis. My husband now has become even more enthusiastic about yoga than me. I can see tremendous change in his body flexibility. REETU has made it possible that he can do 108 Surya Namaskars, without any breaks. Super event that was REETU !!
After seeing us even my kids started with REETU and they both await their evening classes with her.
Believe me...I am sooo happy that all 4 of us are enjoying Yoga as a family that we look forward to REETU VEDIC YOGA CLASSES that we want no breaks from it !
